Description: Browning Superposed Diana 28 gauge! Not only is this an incredibly desirable Browning being that it is both a Diana and a 28 gauge…It is also in the probably themost sought-after configuration: Round knob, long tang, 28” barrels choked M/F, butt plate, beautiful wood, factory box, factory letter and it was made in 1965! The fabulousl Browning Diana engraving is signed “LC” which is attributed to Lilly Cortis, who was a Browning engraver in the 1960’s. The dark/handsomely grained stock and forearm were cut and finished from a beautiful piece of American Walnut. All the original Browning finishes remain in 98%+ condition and the overall appearance is like-new condition!
