Browning Diana Grade 28 gauge, Custom Shop Engraved, Superposed 28 Ga Shotgun in Browning Case.

Based on the 50-year rule, a C&R FFL is acceptable to transfer this firearm.

Browning Diana Grade 28 gauge Superposed over/under 28 Ga, Browning Custom Shop engraved shotgun - in original Browning case.  28 inch VR barrels.  Choked skt/skt.   SN 1744 F7, which is a 1968 year of manufacture.  Made in Belgium.  This is a special order shotgun from back in the day when Browning let you select the wood and engraving grades.  Browning offered grades 1 thru 5 wood, and then the top grade was named the Diana grade.  I suppose the Diana wood on this shotgun is equivalent to what would be a grade 6.  From what I read, there were 4 engravers in the Browning Custom Shop in 1968.  They all signed their work "Campo" except for the master engraver which signed "LA Campo" - who signed this shotgun.  What a bonus to have a shotgun engraved by the man himself.... See the picture I provided.  The wood and metalwork are in fine Excellent condition.  As can be seen on the hinge abutment, the shotgun has been shot very few times, and good quality high pressure grease was always used on the pivot and sliding surfaces.

Shipping costs include packaging, FFL transfer on my end, UPS or FedEx ground shipping the cased shotgun in the lower 48 states, and full insurance.  Shipping to Alaska is a few bucks more.  Next day air shipping is crazy priced.  So, be aware when you bid.
