Offered up for sale is a gorgeous, all original, 20ga Belgium Browning Superposed Superlight Diana-grade shotgun. This gun was manufactured in 1976, the final year of Browning Superposed production, and features serial number 6533V76. It was engraved by Mario Bodson (“M. Bodson”) whose signature can be seen on the left side of the receiver, in the traditional Diana style. The 26 ½ inches barrels are “as new” and feature a ventilated rib with a single steel bead front site. The barrels were originally choked Improved Cylinder/Modified but were re-bored to Skeet/Skeet by Browning per the letter from the Browning Historical Department (which will be included with this gun), and the receiver is chambered for 2 ¾ inch shells. The receiver features deep engravings of 5 pheasants on the left side, 4 ducks on the right, 2 quail on the bottom and 2 rabbits on the long tang trigger guard. The straight grip stock and Schnabel forend are made of beautifully figured walnut, are finely checkered and are in their original condition. This gun features a single selective gold trigger, non-auto safety and the original Browning butt pad. This Superlight is exceptional in all areas. LOP is the traditional 14 3/8 inches with DAC at 1 3/8 inches and a DAH of 2 1/8 inches. This lightweight constructed shotgun weighs 5lbs. 8oz.
