Offered up for sale is a gorgeous, all original, .410ga Belgium Browning Superposed Superlight Diana-grade shotgun. This gun was manufactured in 1976, the final year of Browning Superposed production, and features serial number 337J76. It was engraved by Claude Baerten (“C. Baerten”) whose signature can be seen on both sides of the receiver, in the traditional Diana style. The 26 ½ inches barrels are as new and feature a ventilated rib with a single steel bead front sight. The barrels are choked Improved Cylinder and Modified, and the receiver is chambered for 3-inch shells. The receiver features deep engravings of 5 pheasants in flight on the left side, 4 ducks on the right, 2 quail on the bottom and rabbits on the long tang trigger guard. The straight grip stock and Schnabel forend are made of beautifully figured walnut, are finely checkered and are in their original condition. This gun features a single selective gold trigger, non-auto safety and the original Browning butt pad. This Superlight is exceptional in all areas. LOP is the traditional 14 3/8 inches with DAC at 1 3/8 inches and a DAH of 2 1/8 inches. This lightweight constructed shotgun weighs 6lbs. 6oz. and is housed in its original factory box and includes a letter of authentication from the Browning Historical Department.
