Browning Diana grade Trap NIB with case
Description:
The Browning Superposed are hand-fitted shotguns that were made by some of the most talented craftsman in Europe to Browning's high standard of excellence. And only master craftsmen and women were allowed to work on these wonderful examples of Browning’s finest offering. This Diana grade Superposed, in 12 ga, is a wonderful example of the best Browning made. Produced in 1974, after the salt problems had passed, this beautiful target gun is truly a great contribution of the Belgian craftsmen at their peak of artistic production. This gun is only one of six regular ribbed Diana grade trap guns with 30" barrels made that year. This speciman was engraved by Rosa Bee, sister of Angelo and a fantastic engraver in her own right. It has four ducks on the right side, five pheasants on the left, two flying partridge on the bottom and a pair of rabbits on the trigger guard. This is a long tang gun with one of the best figured stocks to be put on any Browning and displays checkering of 24 lines per inch with a full handed beavertail forend to guide the gun to your target. It has chokes of Full and Improved Modified for maximum effect and 2-3/4" chambers. It weighs 7lbs. 12 ounces and is all factory original and still 100% of its overall condition, showing little evidence of being shot. There are no handling mark from 45 years of admiring this gorgeous firearm. It comes in a period Airways case that was purchased new with the gun as well as the factory original box and packing, including the owner's manual. Highly desirable and wonderfully built to last, the value of these high grade Superposed guns continues to rapidly climb so there's no better time than the present to purchase one.
