Browning Superposed Diana 410 O/U
Description: Very Rare collectors shotgun. I am the original owner with the warranty card. It is in the original Browning custom fitted luggage style case. It is very near MINT condition and is a meticulously crafted work of art. It has 26 1/2" barrels and ventilated rib and 3" chambers. For you Browning collectors that understand what makes mine a true collectors item is the chokes are Full and Modified. Bores are shiny. My parents gave me one of each Diana for Christmas presents four years in a row. I had the complete set, the 12, 20, 28 and 410. When they first gave this 410 to me I did shoot 20 rounds hunting pheasants.I have never shot it since then. Serial # 3021J69. The engraver is "Marechal". I am 74 these days. Because I was a young guy when my parents gifted me the full set of Diana's I do not remember anything about salt wood. But what I can tell you is my father bought them from ELLINGSONS SPORT CENTER IN SAN MATEO CALIFORNIA. It was the Bass Pro of it's time and was the largest sports store and the largest gun dealer in Northern California. All gun manufacturers treated the owner Glen Ellingson with great respect because of the volume of guns he sold. So had any of my four been salt wood Browning absolutely would have contacted him for replacement. Furthermore what I can tell you is there is absolutely NO evidence of any salt damage anywhere and I have had this gun for 55 years.Glen Ellingson was also a personal family friend who taught me trapshootong and I won the Calif. State Championship in doubles in 1969. My father owned the largest buffalo ranch in North America and had 66,000 acres near Gillette Wyoming and had Glen out to shoot a world record buffalo which is still in the Boobe and Crocket record book if you look "locality killed" is Gillette Wyo. and owner D.C. Basolo Jr.(my father).
