2/12 update. I had an expert review this gun and he says it is a salt gun and has a small amount or corrosion on it. Therefore I am DRASTICALLY reducing the price. It is a beautiful gun even with a couple of minor flaws. The price was $8900 and I am reducing to $5400.
Rare 28 gauge Pigeon grade Browning. The French Gray receiver is engraved with fine scroll and two pigeons in flight on both sides of the receiver. The gun has a figured walnut stock with a new model style (beavertail) fore end and short tang, flat knob butt stock. I don't know it this was a salt gun. It has no rust and was either never a salt gun or had the wood replaced. It is in fine condition.
Appraised for insurance by LL Bean for $16,000.
