Description:
1963 Belgian Browning Superposed Grade II "Pigeon" chambered for 3", 20 gauge shells. This Browning Superposed features a low profile matted ventilated top rib on 26.5" barrels with white front bead and a silver mid-bead. Both barrels are stamped "**$" for "SKEET and SKEET". Top barrel on left is marked "Browning Arms Company St Louis Mo & Montreal P. Q. / Special Steel - 20 ga. - Shells 2-3/4 & 3". The right barrel is marked "Patents No. 2.203.378 - 2.233.86 / Made in Belgium". Gold single selective mechanical trigger with a barrel selector safety. The action is done in a French gray finish. It has engraved fences with oak leaves on stipple background with supporting scroll, pigeons in flight on the sides of the receiver, and nice floral bouquets on the bottom. It doesnt appear it has an engraver's signature . The stock is a two piece checkered walnut with round-bottom pistol grip, straight comb, and a white checkered aftermarket buttplate. Stock measurements;1 1/2" DAC and 2 1/8" DAH with a slight cast for a right-hand person. 20 Gauge
