Browning Superposed Pigeon 12/20
Description: Browning Superposed Pigeon Grade 12/20 two barrel set. Both sets are 26 1/2" SK/SK vent rib ejector barrels appropriately serial numbered to the gun. Bores are perfect in both sets. Game forend on both sets of barrels. This is a round knob, long tang gun built in 1963. Stocked in dark European Walnut with nice fiddleback figure. The buttstock has been cut for a pad and the original wood piece and Browning hard buttplate very professionally replaced. It is very well done and does not significantly detract from the appearance of the gun. LOP is 14 1/8" This gun remains in very good overall condition with 98% original barrel blue on the 20 gauge barrels and 97% on the 12 gauge barrels. Wood finish overall is at 96-97% with a few light handling marks. Buttstock is solid as are both forends. Checkering at 98% on buttstock and both forends. This gun remains mechanically excellent and ready for another 47 years of service before you hand it down to your grandson. Cased in original Browning Hartman case with key, hang tag, and original owner guarantee card. Weight is 7lb 70z with 20 gauge barrels and 7lb 5oz with 12 gauge barrels. SOLD |
