Browning Pointer Grade 20 gauge
Description: SALE PENDING Browning Superposed field style Pointer Grade 20 gauge O/U shotgun. This long tang, round knob gun was made in 1964 and masterfully engraved by Browning engraver Rene DeWil in the scarce and desireable Pointer grade pattern. The 26 ½” vent rib barrels that were originally choked Mod/Full and now are choked Skeet/Skeet (.005”/.005”). with 2 ¾” & 3” chambers and retain they 98% original blue and mirror bright bores. The stock has a 13 7/8” LOP over a ¾” pachmayr vented recoil pad; 1 7/16” DAC and 2 1/8” DAH with a very slight left hand cast. The wood finish is 97% with a few light “dings”. The coin finish frame, trigger guard and top lever are 98%. The gun weighs a mere 6 lbs. and balances beautifully between the hands. SOLD |
