RARE 1966 Belgian Browning Superposed Pointer Grade 12ga/20ga Two Barrel Skeet Set RKLT Hydra-Coil Stock Double Signed by A. Marechal
Description: Up for sale is a very scarce Belgium Browning Superposed Pointer Grade from the last year of the desirable Round Knob Long Tang configuration and also the last year of Pre Salt Wood contamination! This gun also features the Hydra-Coil stock system that Browning began offering in 1965 however the pneumatic cylinder currently does not hold air, which would allow the stock to rebound to full length automatically. The engraving is gorgeous, it is some of the best shading and scenework I've seen on a Pointer! The metal finish on this gun remains in excellent condition with only light wear and handling to the barrels and nearly no wear to the receiver. The wood is a GORGEOUS red color with dark swirling grain present throughout. The hydracoil portion matches the stock and forearms exceptionally well. Barrels are both 26 inches and choked skeet over skeet, set one is 12ga and set two is 20ga. LOP is 14 1/8" collapsed and 14 5/8" extended. Condition: Good with scattered use and wear present, consistent with moderate use. There is a hairline crack in both forearms. Bores are good with some light streaking present but overall bright and shiny.
