Browning Superposed Superlight 20 gauge...1986 QU 97 of 100 NIC
Description: Browning Superposed Superlight 20-gauge O/U shotgun. 26 ½” vent rib barrels, choked IC/M. This gun was custom built by Browning in Belgium for Quail Unlimited in 1986. This model is the very first gun, in over 54 different commemoratives that QU has commissioned! There were on 100 of these made in 1986 and this is #97 of 100. These were all hand engraved by Browning engraver J M Deprez. Comparing this gun to a model in Browning’s lineup it would most closely relate to a Pigeon Grade. Please note the serial number listed below. Although it being 37 years old it remains new and unfired. It has been assembled but, as I said, unfired! And it comes in a Browning luggage case. Although it is new and unfired, I will call it 98%+ overall condition because of a few visible, very small, handling marks. 14 3/8” LOP to the end of the factory butt plate, 1 3/8” DAC and 2 ¼” DAH with very slight right hand cast.
