1958 Browning 20 gauge

Description:
1958 Belgium made Browning Auto 5 20 gauge chambered for 2 3/4", SN#8Z9083. Nice well maintained Auto 5 with original blue on metal surfaces, 26"matte rib barrel with skeet choke(marked **$). This is a first year production of the 20 gauge auto 5 which was crafted to be lighter and more manueverable part of which is thanks to the very light matte rib barrel. The 1958 model year example here exemplifies the innovative design and superior quality which was testament to the 98 year production run of this model. The wood is original and I believe the finish on the wood to be original as well. The fore arm is very nice with browning recoil directions printed on a decal on the inside and there are no cracks and the checkering is sharp, The butt stock plate is the original horn carved plate there is minor safe rash from storage handling.

Of course this is a light weight bird gun in its current configuration, but not included and available for sale separately is a late model Browning invector barrel 28" vent rib barrel in new old stock condition that can be used for steel shot so this is a highly versatile shotgun(contact me for futher information).

This is a great shotgun with very manageable recoil which will be a great shooter for years to come. Whether your a collector looking for a historically significant piece or a shooter looking for a beautiful/versitile and highly reliable shotgun this classic Browning Auto 5 "Twenty" will be an excellent choice.
