BELGIAN BROWNING MODEL A-5 OR A5 12GA. MAGNUM SEMI-AUTO 32" GRADE 1 SHOTGUN, CIRCA 1965. Serial number with prefix "5V-67XXX". 31 1/2" plain barrel choked full with one line Browning address and "made in Belgium" along with belgian Liege proofs. Original barrel to receiver. Receiver with almost all of it's original finish just beginning to fade to plum with no losses. All screws excellent. Grade 1 Scroll vines and zig-zag engraving. A few small areas of salt and pepper but nothing sticks out. Typical tiger stripe beautiful grain wood of the period. Some flaring of wings on either side of tangs from weather but SOLID even with a few small chips missing(just needs a bit of TLC). Length of pull 14 1/4" over Browning vent rubber pad(still pliable). Checkering getting a bit thin in places but never recut. Original varnish. Forend and it's checkering match buttstock with a few hairlines extending from receiver but solid. Perfect working order with mirror bright bore with NO scoring. Classic with some waterfowl character and still ready to be shot.
