1984 Vintage Browning Auto 5 Magnum Twelve 12 Ga. w/ 28" Barrel

Description: Made in Japan in 1984 this Browning Auto 5 Magnum Twelve shotgun is chambered for 3" inch magnum 12 gauge shotshells, but it will also function with high-brass 2.75" inch loads. It comes with a factory 28" inch ventilated rib barrel that uses Browning's Invector choke tubes. This particular example is interesting in that it was built with some left-over Belgian made parts from what we can tell. The rear of the receiver has the engraved Belgian leaf/scroll, and the recoil pad is branded "F.N. Herstal". The condition of this Magnum Twelve rates 98% excellent plus for both the factory gloss-blue finish on the metal and the condition of the factory checkered stock set. The bore in this Browning is beautiful and mirror-bright with no pitting, bulges, dents, or imperfections whatsoever. The original checkered Walnut forearm and buttstock show only a few very minor handling marks and are free from any cracks, chips, or repairs. The buttstock has a factory-installed recoil pad in excellent condition which was standard on all Magnum Twelve models, and the length of pull is 14.5" inches to the end of the pad. All of the controls on this shotgun are in perfect working order, and the internals are just as clean and free from wear as the exterior. This Browning has obviously spent most of it's life in a safe or gun cabinet. The choke tube system makes this a very versatile shotgun, and it is built to handle steel shot required for waterfowl. These Browning Auto 5's are truly a classic and the originals have proven themselves excellent investments. This Magnum Twelve would be an excellent addition to any collection as both an investment and a shooter that you could be proud to carry afield.
