A Citori built for dropping birds and other game in the field, the Browning® Citori® 525 Field Over/Under Shotgun offers proven Citori performance with classic 525 styling. An ideal gun for hunting and sporting clays, the 525 Field starts with a streamlined 525-styled stock made of oil-finished, Grade II/III black walnut with checkering on the grip and Schnabel fore end ends in a hard. The engraved steel receiver with silver nitride finish adds an eye-catching touch to the gun's throwback styling. An easy-shooting design you can shoulder and swing quickly and fluidly, this gun utilizes a steel breech face and hinge pin with transverse-mounted, full-width tapered locking bolts. These bolts engage a full width tapered recess in the rear barrel lugs that allow the bolts to seat deeper over the years; so, the action never gets sloppy. Corrosion-resistant, chrome-plated chambers resist the toll thousands of shells can take on a gun, while the gun's back-bored barrel delivers higher shot velocity, reduced recoil, and improved patterns.
