The Browning XS Pro Left Hand is one of the most sophisticated competition shotguns ever offered by Browning, developed specifically for serious sporting clays and FITASC competitors. Manufactured by Miroku of Japan for Browning S.A., this European-market-exclusive model is a true left-hand shotgun, engineered from the ground up for left-handed shooters rather than simply fitted with a left-hand stock. Featuring Browning's innovative Pro Fit adjustable comb, adjustable trigger, balancing weight system, and High Performance Steel Shot proofed barrels, this 2022 example remains like new in its original case with its complete factory accessory package.
Chambered in 12 gauge with both 2.75-inch and 3-inch chambers, the shotgun is fitted with 30-inch High Performance Steel Shot proofed barrels and weighs 8 pounds 2.8 ounces in its current configuration. The barrels utilize Titanium Invector Plus extended choke tubes, and this package includes an exceptional selection consisting of Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, two Modified, Improved Modified, Light Full, Full, and Extra Full chokes. The 10mm ventilated matted rib is equipped with a white mid-bead and white front bead, providing a crisp sight picture for every sporting discipline.
Built on Browning's proven boxlock action, the XS Pro features a single selective trigger, ejectors, and non-automatic safety. Unlike conventional over/unders, this is a true left-hand action, with the top lever opening to the left, allowing left-handed shooters to operate the gun naturally without compromise. The gold trigger is fully adjustable, providing approximately ±½ inch of length-of-pull adjustment. Mechanically, the shotgun is in outstanding condition. The bores are clear, the action locks up tightly, the trigger is crisp, the ejectors are strong and in time, and the shotgun remains mechanically excellent.
The satin-finished receiver is tastefully decorated with elegant light scroll engraving accented by gold inlays, giving the shotgun a refined appearance while maintaining the understated styling expected of a premium competition gun. The richly blued barrels complement the receiver and carry High Performance Steel Shot proof, making the gun equally suitable for modern non-toxic ammunition.
The shotgun is stocked with beautifully figured Grade 4 oiled walnut configured specifically for a left-handed shooter, complete with cast for the left hand. Browning's Pro Fit adjustable comb allows the shooter to precisely tailor comb height and cast for an exact fit. The trap-style forend provides excellent control, while the factory balancing system allows both barrel weights and stock counterweights to be installed, enabling the balance characteristics to be customized for individual preference.
The shotgun is housed in its original Browning-marked Negrini ABS hard case and includes an exceptional factory accessory package. Included are the original paperwork, eight Titanium Invector Plus choke tubes, three Inflex II recoil pads (¾-inch installed, plus ½-inch and 1-inch pads), recoil pad spacers, adjustable trigger shoes, barrel weights, stock counterweights, VCI storage sleeves, and the original accessory cases.
