Browning Sweet Sixteen Modified choke 25 1/2" matted rib barrel. Late 1950's manufacture. S-pre-fix serial number 42 thousand range. Original shotgun with approxamately 80-85% original blueing on reciever, just starting to turn plumb colored, with 90-95% bright blue remaining on the barrel. Some white areas on underside of barrel in front of forearm where it contacts forearm under recoil.[see photo] Bore is perfect . Functions properly. Has never been abused or mistreated in any way. I don't even think the reciever has been apart. Screws are perfect and lined up correctly, original horn FN buttplate. All good. Bolt and reciever innards could use a good cleaning, feels there is old dry grease in there. Owner said he hadn't used it in forty years.
