Often compared with the earlier Winchester Model 21 the Browning BSS is similarly known for being a reliable and robust side-by-side. The BSS was first manufactured and offered for sale in 1971, produced by the famed Miroku company of Japan and built to exacting standards. This example has most likely never been fired, its removable striker disks showing no primer marks, they and the mechanicals of this gun appear un-used. The gold trigger still has 100% gold plating.  Externally the metal is in 100% factory original condition, the wood is also in an exceptional state with only a few fine handling marks evident.  The pad was added making the 15 1/8” LOP…the stock is not cut.  We can install a Browning buttplate for an additional $175 if you wish. The engraving on the action is clear and sharp, both the hinge and action are factory tight with the lever sitting way right of center. Measuring IC/ M the bores are mirrored, the barrel is 26″ making this sxs a handy gun for bird hunting and clay smashing. Overall a stylish shotgun in top condition, steadily increasing in popularity and value this gun won’t be in our gunroom for long, act fast or it will be gone!
