This illustrious Model 42 slide-action .410-gauge Shotgun, built by Browning Arms Company in Japan, was designed by David Maass for Ducks Unlimited. This Model 42 is highlighted by a receiver bearing an immaculate coin finish displaying gold washed flying ducks, "Maass" and floral engraving on its left side, while the right-side depicts gold washed pheasants flying above “Ducks Unlimited”. The top of the receiver reads "Virginia No.10" in script with a Ducks Unlimited duck head on the trigger bow. This Model 12’s high-quality design also incorporates a walnut high-figured, high-gloss, checkered pistol grip stock with a steel grip cap, a large walnut forend with checkering, and a Browning log buttplate. This shotgun also features a blued finish to a fixed modified choke barrel with a fully ventilated rib and bead front sight. Browning’s logo and the gun’s specs are located on the left-side of the barrel.
