This Browning A5 Sweet Sixteen w/Round Knob was mfg abt 1953. This was the first real
production year for these "Sweet Sixteen's". They are an Iconic symbol of shotgun perfection
and always a talking piece. Their values have soared over the recent years and proven to
be an excellent valie. This particular one came from an estate of a Browning A5 collector.
It was a possible earlier restoration. The wood is abt 80 - 95% & appears original. It has some
lite handling marks.
The gun bluing is 96-99 %& perfect too me. The action is normal & cycles as it should.
Thr ventilated rib barrel 26 inch ** (Modified). The bore is excellent.
I would rate theis as an NRA "Very Good". It should appeal to the medium range collector.
