This FN Belgian Browning Sweet 16 Auto 5 is the height of classic FN craftsmanship. The barrel measures 24 1/2” to the multi choke and 28” overall. This 16 gauge is chambered for 2 3/4” shells. This is an “X series” and has “Sweet Sixteen” scrolled on the left side of the receiver. As for the wood there are zero cracks, zero chips and the great dark wood finish. The bluing is strong and shows no rust or any real flaws. This shotgun has been babied for 75 years and is ready for the blind or the field. I have not fired this Browning A5 but the action is strong and it dry cycles as it should. I know some Automatic 5 guys will disagree with me but I have fired thousands of rounds of steel shot through these old Belgian barrels in IC, MOD and especially with a multi choke with zero issues. You probably need this one quick to put under the Christmas tree.
