BROWNING BSS MODEL 12 GAUGE. BARRELS 30" MARKED FULL (.040) AND FULL (.040), 3" CHAMBERS. MIRROR PERFECT BORES, EXCELLENT BRIGHT ORIGINAL BLUE, 99%. NO EDGE OR MUZZLE WEAR, SINGLE BEAD SIGHT, AUTOMATIC EJECTORS.
SINGLE SELECTIVE TRIGGER, BOXLOCK FRAME WITH ACANTHUS SCROLL ENGRAVING PATTERN, ENGRAVED SCREWS. TOP LEVER TO THE RIGHT TIGHT ON FACE, STIFF TO OPEN.
PISTOL GRIP STOCK, BEAVERTAIL FOREARM, EXCELLENT FINE CHECKERING. VERY GOOD WOOD WITH NO CRACKS OR PROBLEMS, SCUFFS IN THE VARNISH FINISH, ORIGINAL BROWNING MARKED BAKELITE BUTTPLATE, 1 1/2" X 2 1/4" X 14 1/4", 7 POUNDS 14 OUNCES. THIS IS THE ONLY BROWNING BSS I HAVE SEEN WITH 30" FULL &FULL 3" CHAMBER BARRELS. THE BSS GUNS WERE INTRODUCED IN 1971 AND DISCONTINUED IN 1988, MADE BY MIROKU IN JAPAN.
