1973 Belgian Browning Superposed Lightning Grade I 20 Gauge
Description: 1973 Belgian Browning Superposed Lightning Grade I 20 Gauge
Beautiful Belgian-made Browning Superposed Lightning Grade I over/under shotgun chambered in desirable 20 Gauge and manufactured circa 1973.
This highly sought-after “Long Tang” configuration features 28" ventilated rib barrels chambered for 3" shells and marked Modified / Improved Cylinder. Additional features include selective ejectors, gold trigger, tang-mounted safety/barrel selector, silver front bead, and classic Browning Lightning-style straight grain walnut stock.
Shotgun has a 14 1/4" length-of-pull, 1-5/16" drop at comb, 2-1/8" drop at heel, and a black plastic factory buttplate.
The receiver, trigger guard, and top lever display tasteful factory floral engraving while the shotgun retains approximately 98% original blue finish with only minor handling marks noted from careful ownership. Wood remains excellent overall with attractive grain and crisp checkering.
Mechanically, the shotgun remains tight and crisp with the top lever still well right of center. Bores are bright and strong. Includes original Browning factory cardboard box.
