Beautiful and uncommon Super Lightweight FN Herstal Belgian Browning Auto-5 12ga

Browning A5, Rarely seen English (straight) stock 12 gauge beauty. It's hard to pin down the details of these unique "SUPER LIGHT"  Auto 5 shotguns as they were not sold in the United States with these markings. Here are some highlights:
Offered here is a fine example of the iconic Browning Auto 5, manufactured in Belgium by FN Herstal. This is the classic 12-gauge semi-auto that set the standard for reliability and innovation for generations of sportsmen. Chambered for 2.75" shells and fitted with a 27.5" non-rib barrel choked Improved Modified, it is as versatile as it is timeless. It is accented with a gold trigger and silver-tone trigger guard, giving it a handsome contrast. Mechanically, the gun remains in excellent condition with a smooth cycling action, a crisp trigger, and a clear bore. The walnut stock and forend show almost no wear and the checkering remains strong and defined.
This is what's known as a World Market or European Market FN Belgium Browning Automatic 5. Since it was marketed overseas and is a Super Lightweight, coming in at 7.2lbs. On the barrel you see: FABRIQUE NATIONALE D' ARMS DE GUIRRE HERSTAL BELGIQUE. CROME -* ACIER SPECIAL C12 CART. 2 3/4”. Made in the 1960s and early 70s Every Automatic 5 lover should have at least one of these babies just because of their uniqueness. Absolutely beautiful wood on this Auto 5 and VERY little wear on the gold trigger testifying to the limited use this lovely girl had. These unique Auto-5s just don't come along very often so you have a rare opportunity here to make it yours...
