Description
Offered for sale is a Browning BSS 20-gauge side-by-side shotgun with 28-inch barrels choked Improved Modified and Full. The BSS series is widely regarded as one of the strongest and most durable modern side-by-side shotguns ever produced, built on a robust boxlock action designed for heavy field use.
This example remains in original configuration with factory wood and metal. The walnut stock shows attractive grain and normal handling marks consistent with use, with no cracks or structural issues noted. The metal finish remains solid overall, and the engraving on the receiver is crisp and intact.
The action is tight, locks up properly, and functions as it should. Barrels are straight with clean bores.
