Field 20 gauge with 28" barrels, full game scene coverage on case colored receiver, comes in case with 5 flush choke tubes. The Magnus is designed to appeal to the discriminating hunter who appreciates a classic shotgun with timeless qualities. It features an elegantly sculpted sidelock-style receiver with fine scroll engraving depicting grouse, quail, and pheasant scenes in gold set against a richly colored, case-hardened finish. The unique, pinless sideplates create a perfectly smooth receiver with uninterrupted engraving.
The Magnus series receives a deluxe grade Turkish walnut stock with a traditional hand-rubbed oil finish that enhances the highly figured grain. The meticulously fitted wood butt plate allows for snag-free gun mounts and adds a custom look and feel. The grip is in the Prince-of-Wales style, and the length of pull is 14.5 inches. Checkering is cut at 26 lines per inch for a secure, refined hold.
Ahead of the receiver, the schnabel fore-end incorporates an Anson button latch, a feature associated with the finest British guns. A brass front bead sight and a single selective trigger complete the configuration. The receiver is case hardened and urethane coated for durability.
Each Magnus includes five nickel-plated, precision-patterned flush chokes (CYL, IC, M, IM, F), a plastic choke case, and a lockable hard case with a fitted, velvet-lined interior and combination locks.
