Serial Number: 105124
Built in Italy by Caesar Guerini this Magnus Light 12ga over/under serial number 105124 was made in 2004. Famed for their high-quality shotguns Guerini manufactures shotguns to the tightest tolerances, every detail is carefully considered to reduce weight and maintain balance with this example weighing 6lb 4oz. The frame and fore-end iron are machined from a solid forging of the best aircraft grade aluminum alloy. The whole is then engraved and decorated with gold inlayed game birds; the nickel alloy finish is then protected with a clear coating. Mechanically the shotgun has screwless side plates, re-bounding hammers, and selective manual safety. This gun has 28” blued barrels with a vent rib, 3” chambers and timed ejectors, the barrel flats are jeweled. The Bore is in mirror like condition and is chrome-lined, five screw-in chokes are supplied with this shotgun- C/C/IC/M/F. The Magnus Light is fitted with European walnut which shows excellent grain with strong mineral contrast while the Schnabel forend is fitted with an Anson pushrod fore-end latch. Checkering is cut at 26 lines per inch and all wood is finished with hand rubbed oil. The furniture has some handling marks. If you hunt demanding terrain or just appreciate a light, responsive bird gun, the Magnus Light will fit the bill! This Magnus Light is supplied with its original fitted hardcase.
