Shoddy third-party craftsmanship aside—the real problem with this makeshift approach is that a compact hand sits above the palm swell of a full-size grip, frequently causing annoying (if not painful!) wrist supination and forward sliding of the hand under recoil. Fortunately, the Guerini Summit Sporting Compact features a stock designed from scratch for shooters in the 5’6" to 5’8" range.
