Vintage B.C. Miroku Charles Daly Superior Grade 12 Gauge O/U Shotgun

Description: If you have been looking for a classy and nice over and under shotgun to add to your collection this vintage Charles Daly 12 gauge Superior Grade would be an excellent choice. Made for Charles Daly between 1962 and 1976 at the B.C. Miroku factory in Japan, these shotguns quickly earned a reputation for being both well-made and reliable while being significantly more affordable than the Browning Superposed of that period. This particular Superior Grade features 26" inch barrels choked Improved Cylinder and Modified with 2.75" inch chambers. It has a single-selectable trigger, ejectors, bushed firing pins, and a gloss-finished checkered Walnut stock set. This shotgun has had a "Decelerator" recoil pad professionally installed and has a length of pull of 14" inches at the end of the pad. The blue finish on this shotgun is the original factory finish, and shows average wear for a gun that has been carried afield and shot but not abused. The most prominent finish wear shows at the bottom of the receiver at the natural balance point for carrying. The bores on this Charles Daly are in excellent condition. They do not show any pitting, dents, bulges, or imperfections of any kind. The original stock set shows handling marks and some discoloration at the rear but appears to be 100% solid. There is one small heal repair that you can see in the pictures, and a Decelerator recoil pad has been fitted to the butt. The new owner can leave it as-is or have the buttstock refinished to make it uniform. All of the controls on this Superior Grade work 100% like the day it left the factory. The action is perfectly "on face" and locks up tight. As you can see from the picture looking down on the action, the action lever still sits to the right side of the tang which indicates that this gun has barely been broken in. This shotgun would make a fine sporting and hunting gun and is priced to sell. SOLD Manufacturer: Charles Daly (B.C.
