PRUSSIAN CHARLES DALY LINDER - DIAMOND QUALITY - SEXTUPLE SINGLE BARREL TRAP WITH GOLD - SALE PENDING

Description:
SALE PENDING. Prussian Charles Daly, Diamond Quality, Sextuple Grip with gold pigeon in flight laid in oval on floorplate. Tight scroll engraaving throughout with game scene on a setter on the trigger guard. This is Linder gun with the cross pistols stamped on the barrel flat. Barrel at breech is engraved "Diamond Quality" and has Witten Steel Logos. Flat ventilated rib on 32", 12 guage barrel. Mirror bore measures .718 as original with 16/1000 choke (Modified). Chamber is 2 3/4". No dents, bulges, pits or even slight corrosion in the barrel. Brass front bead and ivory center. Gun is tight on face with forend attached, with forend removed the barrel has very slight movement. Ejector is well timed and is functioning perfectly. Most of the Linder Trap Guns I have seen over the years have had the ejector mechanism removed. This gun has it all intact. All serial number match. Trigger guard has a brazing repair, see the last two photos. Repair is solid and should be servicable. Weight of gun is 8 LBS 2 3/4 OZ. Shipping is $50. C&R OK. Well figured stock and forend. The Linder Daly single barrel trap guns were produced begining in 1912 and had a very limited and short run. This gun is most likely 100 years old and still has a lot of life left. Here is a good opportunity to obtain a Diamond Grade, Sextuple Grip at very reasonable price.
