CHURCHILL IMPERIAL XXV 12 GAUGE SIDELOCK EJECTOR SIDE-BY-SIDE SHOTGUN

Description:
12 GAUGE, 25" BARRELS, IMPROVED CYLINDER AND IMPROVED CYLINDER, 2-3/4", DOUBLE TRIGGERS,  EJECTORS, STRAIGHT HAND GRIP, SPLINTER FOREND, ENGRAVED STEEL HEEL AND TOE PLATES, 6 LBS-3 OZ, 1-1/2" DAC, 2-1/4" DAH, 14-1/4" LOP

English made 12 gauge game shotgun with 25” nitro proved dovetail steel barrels that are fit with ejectors, 2-3/4” chambers, Churchill quick-sighting tapered narrow raised solid matte flat-top rib and brass front bead. Top of rib near breech is gold inlayed with "XXV". Chokes are Improved Cylinder and Improved Cylinder. Top of the right barrel is roll stamped "E. J. CHURCHILL (GUNMAKERS) LTD." while the top of the left barrel is roll stamped "ORANGE STREET. GUNWORKS. LEICESTER SQUARE LONDON." Underside of both barrels have the gun's serial number engraved, "BP" in script with crown over and "VICKERS N STEEL". Barrel flats have Birmingham nitro proof marks. Case color finished sidelock action is adorned with foliate scroll engraving with "E. J. CHURCHILL" on both lockplates. Underside of action body is engraved with foliate scrolls and a crown. The top lever, rib and fore-end-tip escutcheon are inlaid in gold with the number "2". The action body is fit with a hidden third fastener (treble grip), double triggers protected by a blacked and engraved trigger guard which extends to a full length tang that is engraved with scrolls and the gun's serial number, top lever is blacked, engraved and the left side of the thumb piece is checkered, "SAFE" is in gold ahead of the automatic blacked engraved and checkered safety slide. Best quality walnut stock with straight hand grip, drop points and an engraved stock oval. Splinter fore-end with matching checkering and Anson type push button release, 14-1/4" LOP to a checkered butt fit with engraved steel heel and toe plates, 6 Lbs. - 3 Oz. Gun lives in the single Brady case.
