EJ CHURCHILL SXS 12 GAUGE PAIR
Description: This pair of Churchill shotguns evokes images of English aristocracy and their often lavish driven bird hunts and being chambered for the powerful 12 gauge cartridge, they could take any game bird they faced. Mechanically, these guns are nearly as they came from the factory, but after many years of use and loving maintenance, the stocks have developed a unique patina which tells a story of the guns life. Inside the case you will see many of the accessories that all of the guns of the time would have come with, as well as an odd addition, a third barrel, choked Skeet & Skeet this barrel was likely for the new sport of clay shooting or to hit the more elusive and fast moving game birds. It must be noted that at some point in the life of these guns, the chambers were opened to 2 ¾" and not re proofed.
