This is a vintage British 12 gauge side by side shotgun made by Cogswell & Harrison, Ltd. of 141 New Bond Street & 226 Strand, London, model is “The Avant Tout”, and so marked. Gun features 28” barrels, deep original bluing still on the barrel (90%+), double triggers with ejectors, straight stock with hand-checkering at the wrist, forend and butt, splinter-style forend with engraved steel accents. Gun has 14” length of pull, receiver is engraved as shown with some of the original color case hardening intact. OAL is 45 1/2”. Nitro proofed, full steel gun as shown on the water table with 2 3/4” chambers.
A very nice vintage classic British side by side shotgun in very nice physical condition and perfect mechanical condition. C&R accepted for shipment.
