Superb Small Bore PAIR CSMC Christian Hunter Droplocks 28bore & .410bore Pair-Fantastic 2 GUN SET
Description: True Pair of CSMC Christian Hunter Shotguns! Gun 1: 410bore built with 28" barrels, splinter forend which is nicely checkered and has gold inlaid "1" on the forend escutcheon. Scalloped action boxlock receiver is beautifully engraved in fine scroll floral patterns. Top lever with gold inlaid "1" at pivot point. Floorplate is removable and engine turned on the inside as well as gold inlaid "1" on internals. Internals are gold washed. Blued trigger guard is also relief scroll engraved. Gun made with gold plated double triggers, auto ejectors, drop locks, and auto safety. The flame figured American Walnut buttstock has ball grip and gold oval on toe line and terminates with a nicely checkered butt. Gun 2: 28ga scalloped action / droplock. Gun built with 28" barrels, splinter forend and assisted opening system. Forend escutcheon with gold inlaid "2". Scalloped action boxlock receiver is beautifully engraved in fine scroll floral patterns. Top lever with gold inlaid "2" at pivot point. Floorplate is removable and engine turned on the inside as well as gold inlaid "2" on internals. Internals are gold washed. Blued double rolled edge trigger guard is also relief scroll engraved. Both guns remain essentially "as new" and appear factory test fired only. Both guns are tight as new and come to us from the estate of a former client in Virginia who, ot our knowledge, did not use them.
