IAC Import Norinco Model 97 Trench Gun, 12 GA 2 3/4", 20" Barrel
Like new condition, acquired from a collection where it remained unfired in the original packaging
The Norinco 1897 Trench Gun is a contemporary reproduction of a 12 Gauge WWI / WWII Winchester 1897 trench shotgun, known as the M97 or 97 Trench Sweeper used in both World War One and World War Two. Norinco Model 97 Trench Gun is chambered for 12GA 2 ¾” Shells. Smooth and shiny bore, and finish is in excellent condition as well as the wood furniture showing nearly no signs of handling, only where the bolt and pump moved to show clear while I handle it in the shop, and it where sits in the gun rack at the end of the barrel. The receiver looks great with cosmoline still in the action, wiping off as I prepared it for its photos. Barrel measures 20” and the length of pull LOP is 14 inches & the overall length is 39".

IAC Import Norinco Model 97 Trench Gun, 12 GA 2 3/4", 20" Barrel
Like new condition, acquired from a collection where it remained unfired in the original packaging
The Norinco 1897 Trench Gun is a contemporary reproduction of a 12 Gauge WWI / WWII Winchester 1897 trench shotgun, known as the M97 or 97 Trench Sweeper used in both World War One and World War Two. Norinco Model 97 Trench Gun is chambered for 12GA 2 ¾” Shells. Smooth and shiny bore, and finish is in excellent condition as well as the wood furniture showing nearly no signs of handling, only where the bolt and pump moved to show clear while I handle it in the shop, and it where sits in the gun rack at the end of the barrel. The receiver looks great with cosmoline still in the action, wiping off as I prepared it for its photos. Barrel measures 20” and the length of pull LOP is 14 inches & the overall length is 39".
