#W38552, 28 Bore Model 21 Grand American Flat Side Round Frame by CSMC That Remains in Excellent Plus Condition with some of the Best Engraving seen on any CSMC's Grand Americans, 28" Ejector Vent Rib Barrels with Briley chokes at .553 .006 - .009 - .012 - .018 & .022" (Imp.Cyl. - Skt.II - Mod. - Imp.Mod. & Full), 2 3/4" chambers, Single selective trigger; All of the inside is jeweled which includes the barrel flats, barrel lugs, breech face, receiver flats and forend iron, A beavertail forend, Open Pistol grip stock at 14 5/8 x 1 1/2 x 2 1/4" over a 7/8" pad with the Winchester logo, Great Cast-Off for the right hand, 7 lbs. 3 oz.; Complete and Total B-Carved checkering on the grip and forend with their carved Fleur-De-Lis's, Great wood with deep black/brown color and contrast; This is some of best engraving I have seen on a CSMC Grand American with very accurate Pointing Dogs, Quail and Ruffed Grouse in Multi Colored Gold and Silver inlays (Multi Colored Inlays takes a lot of planning, is great technique and great execution and I presume the engraver used Rose Gold as well), It also has excellent well-cut scroll with 95% coverage, Both the barrel breech and muzzle area is scroll engraved; The frame, forend metal, trigger guard and top tang are completely bordered with Gold inlays, The grip cap with Grand American in Gold, It retains 99% original blue on the receiver, The original barrel blue at 99%, The buttstock and forend remain at 99%, The checkering remains at 100%, The barrels inside & out remain as new. It is cased in the makers Deluxe Oak & Leather trunk with an all-Oak wainscot and has a canvas cover, cleaning gear and a trade label. This gun is a dream in the hand with near perfect cast-off, ideal grip size and nice balance. This is a very nice, very American SxS that is a fine piece of excellent engineering with outstanding Multi Colored Inlays that are fully accurate.
