The Durango is a short-barreled SxS hammerless shotgun imported into U.S. from 2005 to 2006 by CZ-USA. It was manufactured on behalf of CZ by Huglu of Turkey. This is the same manufacturer of the Hammer Coach and the popular Bob White series of shotguns sold by CZ. The Durango features 20” barrels with interchangeable choke tubes, single trigger, Turkish Walnut stock and fore end, a beautiful color case hardened finish on the receiver, and a gloss black chrome finish on the barrels. The butt pad is solid rubber, which is very beneficial. Although vent rubber pads are popular, they are much less effective compared to a solid pad and can eventually collapse under recoil. The Durango features a high level of engraving, particularly on the brake open lever which features the image of a two-headed eagle.
