DARNE R13 SLIDING BREECH 28 GAUGE SHOTGUN
Description:
25-1/2 inch round barrels with 2-1/2 inch chambers. Checkered rib and excellent bores. Gun is lightly engraved. Wood is in very good condition with just a couple mars on the checkering. LOP 14-1/2 inches. The R-series, known for its sliding breech system was produced after 1897. The "13" in "R13" refers to the grade of the shotgun which is determined by the number of stamps found on the underside of the barrel. R13 models also featured special closing discs on the breech. This Darne shotgun was manufactured between 1949 and 1962.
