Made in 1986, this extremely fine 12ga David McKay Brown Game Gun made with 30" Fluid steel barrels. Near fully checkered forend with Anson type push button release. The case hardened action is full coverage scroll engraved to the highest degree. The bottom of the action is nicely gold inlaid "A. Chesapeake" with a Chesapeake Bay Retriever bust engraved on the trigger plate. Sculpted fences and sides of action engraved "David McKay Brown" in banner. Gun made with double triggers, auto ejectors, auto safety. The extremely finely figured European Walnut buttstock is checkered in point pattern through the wrist and terminates with the original checkered butt.
Overall the gun remains in exceptionally nice lighly field used condition. Barrels retain about 97% original blue. Action retains more than 95% original case color. Trigger guard retains about 85%++ original blue and top lever retains about 95% original blue. Stocks are sound and retain more than 97% original finish with only minor impressions. Checkering is still crisp. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are crisp.
