Heritage true pair of cased David McKay Brown side by side 20 bore ejector guns with 27” plain game rib barrels. Both guns are choked improved cylinder and improved cylinder. 14” length of pull over a checkered butt.
Straight English stock, double triggers, round bar trigger plate action, auto-safety, single brass front bead, gold inlaid “SAFE” ahead of the DMB style safety catch, gold inlaid maker’s name on the underside, serial number on the bottom strap, and initials on the trigger guard, gold inlaid “1” and “2” on barrels, top lever, and forend iron, vacant gold ovals, cased in brass cornered oak and leather case. The guns were proofed in London in 1991 with 2 3/4" chambers.
Engraved and signed by Dave Hudson with medium scroll and a flushing ring-necked pheasant on the underside on gun 1 and a flushing mallard drake on the underside of gun 2. Case color hardened action and blued furniture with about 50% case colors remaining. Well figured darker walnut stock. Excellent checkering and very good wood condition. Excellent bores and bluing on barrels other than some silvering where the forend wood meets the barrels. Top lever slightly left of center on gun 1 and right of center on gun 2. Both guns are on face and ejectors in time.
