For sale today is a gorgeous Kimber Valier Grade II. A light, lively, and properly scaled bird gun in 20 gauge, the Valier features a traditional Holland & Holland sidelock action. Keeping to tradition, it has double triggers (w/ articulated front) and an English stock. This deal offers a quality, head-turning, small-bore sidelock at an excellent price. 

The 28" chopper lump barrels are finished with a beautiful Belgium rust blue, are fixed choked to IC/MOD, and are topped with a solid rib. The barrels are balanced by an English stock fashioned from beautiful Turkish walnut. The fine walnut is traditionally hand finished with oil and is finely hand checkered to 24 lines-per-inch, including a fully checkered butt. The forend is a classic splinter profile with Deely latch.

The action is beautifully hand engraved and is finished with elegant bone and charcoal case hardening that has produced a stunning pallete of colors. You won't see colors this pretty on guns double this price. The gold-lined cocking indicators adds a nice little touch against the beautiful array of blues, grays, and brown of the sidelock plates. The triggers are niter blued, as are the pins and hammers. The rest of the internals of the hand-detachable sidelock mechanism are just as beautifully finished. It is chambered for 3-inch magnum shells, which is especially nice now that specialty 2 1/2" shotshells for vintage guns are difficult to find and expensive to purchase. This gun will take any of your modern loads. 

As you can see, this double is in near mint condition. It has been very well cared for, and the lack of wear or damage reflects that. As you would expect, the gun functions perfectly. The original box is included (also in excellent condition).

As a shooter of primarily English shotguns, I have thoroughly enjoyed these Kimbers for several years. No matter where I would take it, I would always get compliments. They have become quite difficult to find so take advantage while you can. This is a great buy for a beautiful, quality gun!
