STUNNING Kimber Marias Factory Presentation Model Grade II 20ga CASED W/ EXHIBITION TURKISH WALNUT

Up for sale is an absolutely beautiful and as new (or “new-old stock”) Kimber Marias “Presentation” Grade II over/under shotgun! This one-of-a-kind, 20ga sidelock was purchased from the Kimber factory collection, and was likely used by Kimber as a demo model (likely at trade shows like the Shot Show, etc). And you can see why. This thing is stunning! Incredible wood, beautiful color case hardening, hand engraving, and a sidelock action typically found on guns 3 times this price. Better yet, this gun is as new!

This double features a Holland & Holland inspired over/under back-action sidelock action. The action is beautifully hand engraved with nice scroll work at 50% coverage with “Kimber” in a banner on both lock plates. For what it’s worth, the earlier guns like this had better engraving than the latter guns. The action is finished with elegant bone and charcoal case hardening that has produced a stunning pallete of colors. You won't see colors this pretty on guns double this price. The gold-lined cocking indicators adds a nice little touch against the beautiful array of blues, grays, and brown of the sidelock plates. The triggers are nitered blued, as are the pins and hammers. The rest of the internals of the hand-detachable sidelock mechanism are just as beautifully finished. 

The stock is fashioned from knockout exhibition grade Turkish walnut; a rounded pistol grip paired with a slim forend. Beautifully finished with hand-rubbed oil, hand-cut checkering (24 lines per inch, including a fully checkered butt), and nicely carved drop points behind the lock plates. Stock dimensions are excellent... 1 1/2" x 2" x 14 1/4". Cast appears neutral. The gorgeous wood is balanced by 28" barrels, with fixed ic/mod chokes, finished with a traditional Belgium rust blue finish, 3" chambers, and jeweled barrel lumps, all topped with a flat matted rib and single front bead. Other notable features include single non-selective trigger, selective ejectors, gold-lined cocking indicators (a nice pop against those beautiful case colors), long bottom tang, and field safety. At 7lbs 2oz, it would be an absolute pleasure in the field or on the range... perfect for dove, pheasant, or clays. As new condition overall or “New-old stock”. Unfired outside of factory. It comes in the factory box (marked “Presentation Grade II”). A beautiful, factory Kimber presentation leather and canvas case with trade label is also available for an additional cost.

I've owned many of these Kimber sidelocks guns and have always been impressed by the value they offer.... lots of very high end features without the high end price. If you want a sidelock over-under of this quality from any manufacturer, you'd have to spend many thousands more. For the money, you can't beat them! Get it while you can!
