John Dickson & Son Round Action Oak & Leather Case with Panoramic Edinburgh View Maker’s Label - CASE ONLY

   ***   SOLD ***   CASE ONLY   ***   Nice condition period oak & leather case with brass corners for Dickson Round Action shotgun. Made specifically for Round Actions but will accept most other action types as well. Accommodates barrels with top extensions up to 30” in length. Shown in the first photograph with a 28” barreled Dickson Round Action shotgun(Shotgun Not Included) in the case. Has the iconic Dickson maker’s label with the panoramic view of Edinburgh.

This is a period case and as such shows the usual scrapes, scratches, and dents in the exterior leather covering. The straps are new and in good condition. The exterior dimensions are 33-1/4” by 9-1/8” by 4-3/4”.

The red wool baize interior material shows wear but the partitions are in good condition. No accessories are included but there are two covered compartments with lids as well as separate compartments for a round oil bottle, snap caps, and a two-piece cleaning rod.
