Heritage cased Fabbri 20 bore sidelock ejector game gun with 27 1/2” barrels. The gun is choked modified and improved modified. Length of pull of 14 5/16” over a ½” black rubber recoil pad .
Straight hand grip, single non-selective inertia trigger on a square bar action, non-auto safety, “Vacuum Arc Remelting Steel” barrels with a raised cross-filed rib, brass front bead, semi-beavertail forend, slotted silver cocking indicators, Anson push button forend release, borderless checkering on the wrist and forend, maker’s name on the underside and on the barrels. The gun is housed in a brass cornered toe-under leather case with maroon baize and a key. Superior proofed in Italy with 2 ¾” chambers and a 1982 proof year code.
Fantasy themed low relief engraving by C. Zomaroni. Floral black leaf scroll with floral bouquets emanating from reposed griffins on both sides and a pair of bare breasted fairies emerging from a floral bouquet on the underside. Silver action and furniture. Well figured walnut stock with fiddleback. The gun is in excellent overall condition. Pristine bores and excellent bluing on barrels. The checkering remains in excellent condition. The stock exhibits minor scratches and compression marks consistent with field use. Very minor scratches on the base of the forend. Top lever right of center, on face, and ejectors in time.
