Heritage Abbiatico & Salvinelli Excalibur BLX 20 bore ejector gun with 29” barrels. The gun is choked modified and full. Length of pull od 14 1/8” over a checkered butt.

Prince of Wales grip with a horn grip cap, single non-selective inertia trigger on a square bar action, detachable triggerplate, sideplates, auto-safety, hold open top lever, single brass bead on a solid cross-filed rib, gold inlaid “SAFE” ahead of the safety catch, drop points, borderless checkered wrist and forend, and an Anson push button forend release. Barrels read “Abbiatico & Salvinelli”. Serial number on the extended bottom strap. Maker’s name on banners on both sides. “EXCALIBUR BLX” model designation on the bottom of forend iron. Housed in a leather trimmed “Famars” marked Negrini case with green baize, owner’s manual, proof certificate, a set of both spare main springs mop and strikers, engraved spare grip cap, mop, brush, stock and barrels socks, and a takedown tool. Italian superior proofed with 2 ¾” chambers in 2004 (“BU” proof year code).

Engraved and signed by Gobbi with large scroll and game scene cameos. A mallard drake flushing on the right, a Hungarian partridge flushing on the left, and a woodcock flushing on the underside. Coin finish action and furniture. Exhibition grade walnut stock. Excellent plus overall condition. Excellent borer and bluing on barrels with a spot of silvering under the forend. Crisp and clean checkering. Stock and forend in excellent condition with very minor evidence of usage. Top lever right of center, on face, and ejectors in time.
