Side plated action profusely engraved with finest scroll interspersed with floral and gold accents over a French gray back ground, signed Patelli. Barrel signed "Fausti Italy" in gold. Slim beavertail for end. Stocked with a wonderful Prince of Wales grip, the long tang ends at the steel grip. Circassian walnut of exhibition quality, deep amber color with intense black marbling throughout measures 1-3/8" comb, 2" heel, 15-1/4" LOP over 1/2" pad, slight cast for right hand. A wonderful small frame 28 weighs just 5 lbs, 5 oz. The 2016 catalog has this model in excess of 23K. Near new condition in a maker's calfskin case.
