A.H.Fox 16 gauge Sterlingworth two barrel set.Built in 1931,this gun is a transition gun finished in Ithaca by Savage with Philadelphia parts.The first set of barrels is 26" Sterlingworth Compressed steel choked skeet (,004") and improved modified (.024").The 2nd set of barrels are 28" Savage Special steel and are choked modifed (.015") and full (.032").Both sets are factory numbered to the gun.The gun is in excellent condition.It retains 25% of the original case colors,95% of the original barrel blue,and 95% of the original wood finish.The stock has a 14"LOP over a Jostam pad.The gun weighs 6-0 with the 36" barrels on.The top lever is far to the right of center indicating that the gun has not been shot a lot.Both sets of barrels have bright clean bores with no rust or dents.The stock and forend are solid with no cracks or damage.This would make a great all around hunting gun for the 16 gauge shooter.C&R eligible.
