My local gunsmith, an expert with older side by sides, thoroughly went through and repaired all needed issues. The gun is now solid and serviceable for many many more years. My loss, your gain. 30 inch barrels are F/F and plenty thick if you choose to alter. LOP 14.0 and 13.25. DAC approx 2" and DAH approx 3.5". I have a few other side by sides for sale.
