Overall, this gun remains as tight as new with mirror bores, although it is well experienced --showing all the signs of alder swamps, grinding hands, and slapping brush (heavy use BUT vigilant care). Almost a shame to replace the "battle scarred" with new, but for "cosmetics-sake", this one is definitely worth the expense considering how well all metal and action parts have survived as originally intended. Great to continue as your prime "shooter" just as it is -- restored or not ! More pix to come if you request them. Please give me a call to discuss this gun.if interested !
